Playing dowdy Betty Suarez on hit show "Ugly Betty" means America Ferrera hardly has to make an effort to glam up shen she goes out, as fans are so impressed by her "makeover."The curvy Latina actress dons fake braces, a wig and thick glasses to play fashion mag intern Betty, so her transformation takes little trouble.
"I'm actually very lucky in that way because the expectations are really low for me because I play Ugly Betty," says Ferrera, who recently won an Emmy for best comedy actress. "I can just walk out in jeans and a t-shirt and people are like, 'Man, you look good!'"
